Chef's Story

Hello all! My name is Amanda Abernathy and I have had quite the health and fitness journey. I've lost over 30 lbs. three times in which I tried several methods and diets. My progress also fluctuated throughout each attempt and it wasn't until the 3rd time that I went into it with the goals of having a much healthier mindset, more planning and proper education. Essentially, I wanted to figure out how to achieve results while being able to enjoy a well-rounded healthy lifestyle. 

 

Through experience, education, and trial/error, I found solutions. I have always loved food and I wholeheartedly resonate with the need for healthy food that is enjoyable. Having personally navigated health challenges, I recognize the transformative impact of wholesome, flavorful meals on both our physical and mental health. My journey, intertwined with my grandmother's negative food experience in a skilled nursing facility impacting her health, ignited my passion for crafting delicious yet health-focused cuisines where I can save you all time, money, stress and so you can focus on what's most meaningful to you instead.
